INTERMEDIATE SKI/BOARD PROGRAM - Our ski/board program for intermediate students will begin on February 8th and run through February 23rd. Mrs. Sebastian/ Mrs.Mckinlay's class and Mrs. Baliko's class will be going on Monday, February 8th, 15th and 22nd. Mr. Nordman, Mrs. Garrison and Mr. Konar's classes will be going on Tuesday, February 9th, 16th and 23rd. Ski Permission Forms and Waivers have gone out, please make sure they are returned to the school at your earliest convenience. Parent help is welcomed on the hill and driving equipment.
INTERMEDIATE BASKETBALL - The Basketball sessin is underway. Mrs. Baliko and Mrs. Sebastian are coaching the Grade 4/5's. Mr. Argue and Mr. Barwick are coaching the Grade 6/7 boys and Mrs. McKinlay and Abby Sebastian are coaching the Grade 6/7 girls. Check out the tab above "extra-curricular" for practise times.
SPRING BREAK - Thursday, March 4th is the last day of school before Spring Break. All schools in the district will re-open on Monday, March 22nd.
REPORT CARDS - Second Term report cards will go home on Friday, April 9th.

KINDERGARTEN REGISTRATION - If your child will be turning 5 years old before December 31, 2010, they are eligible to be enrolled into Kindergarten for the 2010/2011 school year. The information that we have received indicates that there will be all day Kindergarten at both Perley and Hutton Elementary Schools - more information on this full day kindergarten will follow once we receive same.
AIR QUALITY ALERT - If our school receives an Air Quality Alert, parents can request that their children remain indoors on those days. The school will declare these days "in-door choice days" for students. Contact your child's classroom teacher if you have any particular requests for your child on these days.

VOLUNTEER DRIVERS - Please remember to sign up, or resign, as volunteer drivers. Booster seats are a requirement for those students who are under the age of 9, or under 4"9".
EMERGENCY CONTACTS - Please call the school office if you have changed telephone numbers, cell phone numbers or addresses. It is important that we have up-to-date information to contact you in case of an emergency

STUDENT ABSENCES - We ask parents to please call the school when students are going to be absent. If calling before office hours please leave a message. Thank you for your assistance.
BUS PERMISSION SLIPS - A reminder to parents that if their child will be riding a different bus or getting off at a different stop, other than their assigned stop, the Office must receive a note from a parent or guardian with full details. The Office Administration will complete a "Bus Permission" slip for the student to give to the bus driver for that particular day.
