West Boundary Elementary School is committed to providing a healthy and comfortable school environment for our students, staff, and parents. It is our expectation that this move to a scent-free school be respected and supported by the entire West Boundary Elementary School community. Effective January 1, 2017, we request that anyone coming into WBES refrain from using or wearing scented and fragranced products; in addition, use of scented products while in the building is prohibited throughout the school. We must have up-to-date information in order to contact parents in an emergency. Please call or email the school office if you have changed addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, etc. Also, please let us know if there has been a change to your child's health or home situation that the school needs to be aware of.

HEAD LICE - Cases of head lice have been reported to the school office. Please check your child’s hair for head lice on a weekly basis and, if necessary, on a daily basis. Interior Health's website has information on how to check for and treat head lice:

New Offerings at Learn BC

The Virtual School Society added four new interactive courses for Kindergarten to Grade 2 children called the Edmark House series on our LearnNowBC website. These online courses are available to parents and children, and can be accessed by both PC and Mac users at school or anywhere web access is available. They are free of charge. They are available in four titles in four subject areas.

Boundary Outreach StrongStart

West Boundary Elementary School is an Early Childhood Educator and community partner that offers an early learning program designed to work in partnership with parents and/or caregivers. This is for preschool children 5 and under. This drop in program is free of charge.

School Supply Lists

Beaverdell and West Boundary Elementary School's are pleased to provide bulk pricing for individual school supplies. Prices will be comparable to last year and announced at the beginning of the school year. In addition to paying for your child(s) supplies bundle, they will be required to provide a gym strip and runners. Grades 5,6, & 7 students will be asked to provide a zippered three ring binder as well. See below for a listing of the supplies that will be provided.
